Passion for coffee: Torrefazione La Brasiliana
The La Brasiliana brand was founded and developed by the Govoni family. Grandfather Carlo's initial marketing measures quickly led to success. The coffee was roasted directly in the shop behind a window. Passers-by stopped and watched the roasting process with curiosity. The wonderful espresso aroma spread through the streets of the city center. Shortly after the company was founded, Carlo Govoni's children developed the first coffee blends for the city's bars. The La Brasiliana logo was also coined by Carlo's children. After developing their first own blends, the siblings hired a young African-American hotel boy named Ailù. The boy sold the coffee on the doorstep in Ferrara, which quickly made the roastery better known. A painter portrayed the boy at work and thus the company symbol was born.
Preservation of Italian coffee culture
La Brasiliana is a family business and upholds family values. New technologies enable more efficient structures, but the artisanal art of espresso is still alive. New times, new challenges - and yet the La Brasiliana roastery is and remains rooted in Italian coffee culture. The La Brasiliana espresso has enchanted the palates of Italians for decades. Openness and transparency are the recipe for success, because no secret is made about the composition of the different blends.
Highest quality requirements
The beans for roasting are selected very carefully, the quality of the La Brasiliana blends is high. Appearance, smell and taste must meet the requirements. Central America, South America and Asia are among the origins of the selected green coffees that La Brasiliana uses in its blends. Exclusive recipes, such as LA BRASILANA MARFISA and LA BRASILIANA ROSSO EXTRA, are passed down from generation to generation and enriched with experience over time. The pursuit of perfect enjoyment, freshness, the highest product quality, the most modern process and management, and company transparency are always at the forefront. Passion, knowledge and experience are the key factors for La Brasiliana's entrepreneurial success.
