Limited Cappuccino Cups in a Set of Two

The limited set of two cappuccino cups from the illy Art Collection was designed by Mona Hatoum. The artist was born in Beirut and moved to London after the outbreak of the civil war. In her career, she has addressed critical issues in performance art as well as in installations and sculptures, depicting contradictory feelings such as aversion and desire.

The design of the cups is reminiscent of the classic motif of the Kefiah, the Arabic head covering. This was decorated by Mona Hatoum with olive leaves and fishing nets. The cups are perfect for a delicious cappuccino.
