Caffè Roen
The Caffè Roen roastery was founded in 1979 in Pacengo di Lazise (VR) on the shores of Lake Garda. Sergio Bendinelli worked in the coffee industry before deciding to set up his own production. In search of the perfect espresso, he initially used a small roasting machine, which allowed him to develop the first coffee blends and start a small production for the catering industry.

Caffè Roen and Bendinelli
The Caffè Roen roastery also includes the Bendinelli roastery. With the Caffè Roen and Espresso Bendinelli brands, the company offers a wide variety of espresso blends. These blends are suitable both as a straight espresso and in various milk-based preparations. The careful selection of green coffee beans is based on years of experience and expertise; this is the only way to guarantee the production of excellent espresso blends of the highest quality. In addition, Caffè Roen has implemented a modern quality management system to ensure controlled product quality and deliver on its promise of exceptional aroma. Caffè Roen's mastery of its craft is demonstrated, among other things, by the fact that the roastery was recognized for the quality of its products in 2023 by the international "Superior Taste Award" competition!
The marketing of coffee blends
Caffè Roen's bean blends are roasted in a classic drum roaster at low temperatures. This guarantees the full development of the aromas of each individual coffee bean. The roasting process is carried out by qualified master roasters who use their experience and expertise to assess the roasting process for each blend. The company's success came shortly after its founding. The coffee blends are unique, and customers were won over by the product quality and the company's passion for coffee. With this initial success came expansion. New premises in Affi, in the province of Verona, offered better conditions for housing a newer and more efficient roasting system. Along with the new facilities, further investment in coffee expertise was made, and Caffè Roen now has its own coffee sensory analysis and training center.
