The Eureka Helios 65 and 75 are among the most powerful grinders in the range offered by the Florence-based grinder specialists. The Helios boasts an impressive grinding capacity of 3.5 to 5.9 grams per second, depending on the bean, grind setting, and fill level. Furthermore, it offers numerous individual adjustment options, which are particularly useful in more professional settings such as cafés or offices. Overall, it is a reliable and professional coffee grinder with a focus on espresso.

Helios can do that

At the heart of the Helios is the sleek, rounded touchscreen interface on the front. On the home screen, three dosages, or timers, can be conveniently saved and recalled, and a manual mode is also available. Counters in the corners of the display show how often each dosage has been used. An extended menu provides access to special settings to customize the grinder to the desired workflow and application. Here, for example, a PIN can be set for adjusting the timers. It's also possible to configure whether the grinding process is started via the microswitch under the chute, the dosage button on the display, or both. Furthermore, it can be selected whether the dosage must be chosen before each grinding or whether the grinder continues grinding with the last setting. The menu also displays the total number of portions the grinder has processed. Additionally, an automatic reminder for grinder maintenance can be set. The menu color and display brightness are also adjustable.

Hardware equipment

The Eureka Helios comes in a housing weighing a hefty 15.2 kg and features a large bean hopper with a capacity of 1.2 kg. The large grinding discs are driven at 1350 revolutions per minute with a power consumption of 340 watts. As is typical for Eureka, the grind setting is infinitely adjustable and micrometric. The height of the hands-free portafilter fork is individually adjustable, and the position of the chute can also be adapted to individual needs. The illuminated chute area adds a touch of elegance.
