The cold brew maker from Goat Story consists of stylishly designed, darkened borosilicate glass, an airtight lid and a removable filter. The fine-mesh filter fits perfectly into the lid and sits in the middle of the cold brew maker. The glass is suitable for preparing around 800 ml of cold brew coffee and the filter is reusable.

Cold Brew preparation

Preparing cold brew with the Goat Story maker is extremely easy. Simply fill the filter with freshly ground coffee and pour cold water over it. After about 12 hours at room temperature, or 24 hours in the fridge, the cold coffee is ready. Goat Story recommends a ratio of water to coffee of 1:6 to 1:8 when making a cold brew concentrate, or 1:10 to 1:16 for a "ready to drink" cold brew, depending on the desired strength and choice of beans. The grind should be a little coarser.
