Traditional processing method "Monsooning"
The Espresso Malabar from Langen Kaffee consists of 90% Arabica beans and 10% Robusta beans. The body is creamy and soft. Notes of tobacco, wood and dark chocolate make the Malabar hearty. The special processing method, known as "monsooning", makes the Indian Malabar so exceptional. During the rainy summer monsoon storms, the raw coffee beans from the Malabar region in India are exposed to high humidity. This creates notes of wood and tobacco. When combined with milk, the Espresso Malabar takes on wonderfully sweet caramel notes.
