Martella
Artisanal roasting, passion and commitment are the cornerstones of Caffè Martella's philosophy. The company preserves family traditions from generation to generation, creating the unique Martella Espresso.

Roasting tradition from the Castelli Romani
Azeglio Martella was born in Marino in 1895. In the early 1940s, Azeglio Martella opened a drugstore with groceries in the Castelli Romani. The Castelli Romani comprise 16 municipalities in the Italian region of Lazio. The current recreational area is located around 20 kilometers outside of Rome. This area is characterized by attractive landscapes and gastronomic specialties. The Martella family and its companies secured the livelihood of many families during the years of reconstruction after the war. In 1958, in recognition of its social and community commitment, the President of the Italian Republic awarded Caffè Martella the highly respected title of "Cavaliere della Stella al merito del lavoro". Caffè Martella is now run by the third generation. Azeglio Martella passed on his knowledge and passion to his sons David and Christian.

Philosophy and values of an Italian family business
Honesty, passion, the highest quality, reliability in production, the preservation of craftsmanship and perseverance in meeting high quality standards are the main focus at Caffè Martella. Due to the excellent quality of the coffee, Caffè Martella is now one of the largest roasters in its industry. The first-class "Made in Italy" products are exported worldwide. They serve the goal of increasing awareness and understanding of genuine Italian quality products.

Highest product quality
The company places great value not only on the consistently high quality of its products, but also on the company's proximity to its customers and its reliability towards them. The motto has always remained the same: producing one of the best Italian espressos with passion and in keeping with family traditions using traditional methods. The full-bodied MARTELLA MAXIMUM CLASS Blend is one of the flagship products of the family roastery, along with the MARTELLA BIO CAFFÈ.
