A great mix

For the Espresso House Blend, Coffee Circle mixes coffee beans from four origins for joint roasting in a gentle drum roaster. The result is a medium-strong espresso roast. In terms of taste, there are nuances of marzipan and nougat in the distinctive overall picture. While the coffee beans from Brazil, Colombia and Laos form a nutty, chocolatey base, the coffee beans from the DR Congo provide the distinctive spice.

The espresso beans are best freshly ground and are ideal for portafilter machines, fully automatic machines and stovetop coffee machines.

Where the Coffee Grows

Coffee Circle sources the green coffee for the Espresso House Blend from four different farms and cooperatives in Brazil, Colombia, Congo and Laos. The majority of the blend comes from the Fazenda Sertão farm in Carmo de Minas, Brazil. Here, Nazareth Dias Pereira and his family grow coffee plants of the Arabica variety Yellow Burbon at an altitude of 1,050 meters. In the natural process, the harvested coffee cherries are processed dry, which promotes a particularly intense aroma.

Coffee Circle sets a good example and demonstrates a high level of social responsibility. In addition to the relatively high purchase prices that the farmers receive, Coffee Circle invests €1 per kilogram of coffee sold in social projects in coffee regions in Africa and South America.
