The blend of 80% Arabica and 20% Robusta beans is roasted, as is very typical for Joerges, by variety in the traditional drum roasting process. Single-origin roasting means that each bean variety is roasted individually, which is particularly important for blends with different bean sizes. Due to the dark roast, the beans develop a pleasantly intense aroma that lingers on the tongue for a long time.
Also characteristic of this blend are its nutty and woody aromas, with the nutty nuances particularly prominent in the finish, pleasing the palate. What flatters the eyes, however, is the breathtaking crema, which also gives this blend its name. It is firm and very creamy, with a fabulous, dark brown color.
