Special filter paper

Commercially available filter paper usually has the disadvantage that it has a high degree of its own taste. This sometimes has a negative effect on the taste and brewed coffee quality of the coffee. The art of papermaking in Japan has a tradition that is more than a thousand years old (Japanese paper is the paper that is made from the Mitsumata plant and is known for its fine fibers and special softness). Hario has used this knowledge to its advantage and developed the V60 paper filter, a paper filter that gives off almost no taste of its own to the coffee water, retains all the important aromas of the coffee and filters out rudimentary ones.

Suitable for several models

The Hario paper filters are suitable for porcelain coffee filters and drip decanters due to their conical shape. All filters are available in three different sizes that fit the Hario V60 porcelain filter 01, 02 or 03.
