The M42D R espresso grinder from Macap has a digital timer that allows you to determine the amount of coffee to be ground to within a tenth of a second. This function can be programmed individually for one or two portions. A manual grinding mode is also available. The ground coffee is drawn directly into the portafilter. The bean container is tinted to protect the valuable beans from harmful sun rays and holds up to 500 g of espresso beans.

Dosing Type Selection

Up to three different dosages can be programmed using the clear display. The grinding settings are quickly adopted using the "fast programming" function. The "dosing type selection" allows you to select the dosage amount by tapping the trigger button. For example, tap twice to get the pre-programmed amount for a double shot.
