Aromatico cleaning powder was specially developed for the requirements of high-quality portafilter espresso machines, batch brewers, and coffee makers, and impresses with its powerful, residue-free cleaning.

Thanks to its highly effective dissolving power, the cleaning powder reliably removes coffee fats, coffee oils, and deposits from brewing units, lines, and coffee containers. It distributes optimally within the brewing unit, ensuring even and thorough cleaning – without leaving any residue.

With Aromatico cleaning powder, you ensure hygienic cleanliness, reliable machine maintenance and unadulterated coffee enjoyment – ​​developed for the highest demands in the coffee sector.

Application for espresso machines:

• Place 1/2 teaspoon (approx. 3 g) of ground coffee into the blind filter basket and insert it into the portafilter. The special feature of a blind filter basket is that it has no holes, meaning the water cannot pass through the spouts of the espresso machine as it would during normal brewing.
• Insert the portafilter into the espresso machine. Now begin backflushing your espresso machine by switching it on/off/on 5 times for 15 seconds each time.
• Remove the portafilter again and clean the brew group with a portafilter cleaning brush. Start the machine and rinse the brew group.
• Rinse the blind filter briefly with clean water and reinsert it into the machine. Now repeat the backwashing process 5 times without detergent at 10-second intervals.
• Now remove the portafilter and restart the machine to rinse with fresh water.
• Now replace the blind filter with the usual insert, brew 1-2 shots (be sure to discard them) to remove any cleaning agent residue.

Daily cleaning option (portafilter & shower):

• Rinse: Rinse the brew group with hot water.
• Wiping: Wipe the shower screen with a barista cloth to remove coffee residue. Portafilter: Briefly rinse the portafilter with water and wipe it clean.
