Just 9 kilometers from the crater rim of Mount Vesuvius, the traditional Passalacqua company roasts its coffee beans – and has been doing so for over 70 years. As is so often the case in Italy, the company is owned by a family dedicated to roasting coffee beans with love and passion.

From the highlands of the world to the Gulf of Naples

For its signature Neapolitan Vesuvio coffee, Torrefazione Passalacqua uses only beans from the world's finest growing regions, such as Ethiopia, Jamaica, Colombia, Brazil, Java, and Vietnam. The Passalacqua Vesuvio blend consists of 55% Arabica and 45% Robusta beans. The Arabica beans come from five different origins.

Balanced aroma, lots of fire

A full, harmonious aroma, low acidity, and plenty of body – these are the hallmarks of the Passalacqua Vesuvio coffee blend. The espresso initially presents itself very dominantly, but the finish is pleasantly mild.
