Fine-pored crema due to Robusta content

The Aroma Oro Gusto Intenso from the top Italian brand Pellini is a full-bodied blend from southern Italy. It consists of 80% Arabica beans and 20% Robusta beans. The coffee oil from the Robusta beans gives the espresso a thick and fine-pored crema. The coffee has a full body and tastes intensely spicy. Nutty flavors can also be detected. The coffee is versatile and is therefore suitable for use as an espresso, cappuccino or latte macchiato, for example. We recommend preparing the coffee in a portafilter or fully automatic machine, but with the right grind it can also be made in a French press, espresso maker or as filter coffee.

Medium roasting level in drum roasting

If we compare the Aroma Oro Gusto Intenso with the Aroma Oro from Pellini, we can see that this blend is stronger and spicier. It therefore corresponds to the typical image of a southern Italian coffee. This taste can be attributed, among other things, to the gentle roasting by hand in the rotating drum.
