The coffee beans are grown by a large number of small farmers on the Indonesian island of Sumatra. Through dry processing with sunlight, the coffee beans absorb flavor components from the pulp and the earth. The result is a coffee with a powerful fullness and a concentrated, earthy-sweet aroma as well as spicy notes of cinnamon and tropical woods.
