Where do the beans come from?

The Arabica beans come from eight select growing regions in Mexico. They are roasted at the traditional Passalacqua roastery in Naples, where espresso has enjoyed cult status for over 70 years.

Which beans are used (Arabica / Robusta)?

100% Arabica. No Robusta beans. All beans are hand-picked and of the highest quality to ensure a balanced, aromatic profile.

How is the coffee roasted?

Dark and gently drum-roasted according to southern Italian tradition. During the roasting process, the skins are removed, intensifying the flavor and fully developing the aromas.

How does the espresso taste?

Full-bodied, harmonious, and velvety with notes of licorice, malt, spice, and cocoa. The espresso is rather bitter, roasty, and has low acidity, which makes it very well-balanced.
