Mocambo
Anyone who thinks that original Italian espresso can only be found beyond the Alps is wrong. The Drago Mocambo coffee roasting company was founded in 1985 by Giuseppe Drago in Radevormwald, Germany. As the operator of a restaurant, Giuseppe quickly realized that there was no good espresso to be had beyond the Alpine border. Inspired by his passion for coffee, he quickly turned it into his profession. In a small room measuring just twenty square meters, he began roasting the first coffee beans. This is where "Caffè per Passione" was born and it is still alive today.

Italian tradition as the secret of success
Since its founding, Mocambo has been sharing its knowledge of espresso. Every cup is the Italian "La Dolce Vita". Over the years, the family business has grown. Today, the company is run by the third generation. The principles of Italian tradition are the secret of the company's success. The human relationships between employees, the company and customers are also important to Mocambo. Professionalism, experience and competence complement the company's values.

The best coffee blend
Mocambo's mission is clearly defined: roasting the best coffee blends. The company is consciously committed to bringing Italian espresso culture to the world and introducing customers to the Mocambo philosophy. The MOCAMBO GRAN BAR SELEZIONE is considered the roastery's prestige brand and is distinguished by its particularly high-quality coffee beans and authentic Italian taste.

Italian long-term roasting
When it comes to roasting, Mocambo places great value on Italian traditions. The Italian long-term roasting process means that the Mocambo beans are roasted in the drum roaster for between 16 and 20 minutes, depending on the variety. The artisanal roasting method enables gentle processing, which unlocks all the aromas. The MOCAMBO BRASILIA CREMA E AROMA impresses with its full-bodied taste and forms a true unity of crema and aroma. Coffee lovers who enjoy an intense yet low-acid coffee will get their money's worth with the MOCAMBO SUPREMA. In the cup, the great effort and care in selection and processing contributes to the abundance of aromas that make up the Mocambo espresso taste.

What is Mocambo Coffee?
Mocambo is a coffee roastery from Germany, founded in 1985 by Giuseppe Drago in Radevormwald. Inspired by a passion for authentic Italian espresso, he began roasting coffee beans himself. Since then, Mocambo has stood for carefully selected beans, traditional Italian roasting methods, and aromatic espresso.
Where does Mocambo Coffee come from?
Although Mocambo is based in Germany, the roasting process is based on Italian tradition. The beans come from Central and South America (Arabica) and Asia (Robusta) and are carefully selected in small batches and gently drum-roasted to bring out their full aroma.
How much does Mocambo Coffee cost?
The prices for Mocambo coffee beans range from €20 to €30 per kilogram, depending on the variety. This places Mocambo in the premium segment for high-quality espresso beans.
Which Mocambo Coffee is the best?
The choice of the best Mocambo coffee depends entirely on personal taste. Do you prefer your coffee strong? Low in acidity? Full-bodied and creamy, or even decaffeinated? With the selection of Mocambo coffees at Aromatico, there is something for every taste.
