The decaf coffee from the Berlin roastery Coffee Circle is a single origin with 100% Arabica coffee beans from Colombia. The wet processing of the coffee cherries before roasting creates a particularly clear and nuanced taste. The aromas are reminiscent of dried fruit and cinnamon. Overall, the Coffee Circle Decaf tastes pleasantly sweet and full-bodied.

The origin of the coffee beans

To roast the decaf coffee, Coffee Circle sources green coffee from the Colombian cooperative Unichaparral in the Tolima region. The coffee plants of the Arabica variety Castillo are grown by more than 200 small farmers at an altitude of around 1,700 meters. From the cultivation of the coffee plants, through the wet processing and decaffeination, to the roasting, the coffee beans are treated with the utmost care.

Coffee Circle is particularly socially conscious: The Berlin roastery pays fair purchase prices to the farmers and cooperatives and invests €1 per kilogram of coffee sold in social projects in coffee regions in Africa and South America.
