The El Capitano from the Kaffeesack roastery is a characterful espresso, consisting of 100% Robusta coffee beans from India. This type of bean contributes to a rich crema in the espresso. In addition, the dark roast also has a positive effect on the taste. The result is maximum flavor yield.

Italian interpreted

The El Capitano coffee bag brings an authentic Italian espresso experience to the cup. The dark roasting gives off distinctive roasted notes that elicit chocolate-like bitter notes from the roasted coffee. The Indian Robusta adds a spice that is reminiscent of green pepper. As a pure espresso, the El Capitano is a real force to be reckoned with. A little gentler, but still very aromatic, the Robusta roast harmonizes with milk or milk alternatives mixed in a wonderfully creamy cappuccino or a delicious latte macchiato. As a whole bean, the espresso is particularly versatile. The El Capitano shows its strengths particularly in the portafilter machine, combined with the right grinder. But even ground a little coarser, the espresso from the roastery in the Black Forest region tastes wonderful from the stovetop jug, as is common at home in Italy, or in a modern fully automatic coffee machine that has its own grinder.
